You could spread out an ebay store.or start a blog and run ads on it.
I'd say an ebay store is your best bet. While it isn't free, its the easiest to run from home with the best returns.

Answers: it's easy to tumble into the trap of pyramid schemes if you're searching to make money, best bet is to start a store as the above people enjoy said, with an ebusiness such as ebay or amazon store you have little money needed to egt set up and you;re in total control. There are many resources out there for WAHM's (Work at Home Moms)
I would suggest that you do a survey for "WAHM" and look over the resources you find.
Personally, I've worked at home for the past 3 years as a web developer. The work is out there if you own the skill set.
Professions like : Legal and Medical Transcriptionist, Web Design, Clerical stuff ... there's always work available, you just hold to find it.
