Has anyone used Google adsense?
How much revenue did it generate for your site? How much traffic does your site receive? I want to create a website, and i am hoping to sell ad space to offset some of the fees.

I have used it on several sites. I have have about 100 unique visits a year on one and earn about 50 cents a day on it, which was not bleak. It depends also what color are your ads, how do they bled with the site design and of course how masses visitors you have. Some even say that if you want folks to click on your ads you should have bad content so the caller want to get out of your site, and click on some ad.
Answers: I'm not sure you're asking the sound out correctly. I think what you meant to ask is how to use google adwords and adsense together. Because the only approach you would have fees and want to sell ad space is if you be buying pay per click ads. You can use the 2 together but they are very different animals.
Adsense can web you anywhere from a few cents a day to $10+ dollars or more a day. It really depends on the subject matter for cost per click which you receive a part of. The way to do well near adsense is to have a number of sites out there making a few dollars a afternoon. I've written a couple articles on the subject which I'm adding below.
By the way I'd recommend placing one medium size adsense block freshly above your article. Many books say to place more, but I find that one block well placed gives you more $$ per click
