Anyone here use Google adsense or adwords?

I have used both and have mixed response. Adsense has be good to my site http://www.poodwaddle.com but adwords rates my site lowly (because it uses flash content) and tries to charge me $10 per click to show in search engine! :-(

Answers:    It's not so much the Flash as it is the insufficiency of content. Adwords gives low minimum bids based on quality content. Your page looks similar to a portal with lots of links and very little content.

Google adjusted their landing page algorithms to discourage Adwords/Adsense arbitrage. A few years ago you could throw up a site near a bunch of adsense ads and point to it with low cost per click ads and pocket the difference. Not any more.

Try pointing your Adwords want ad to an intermediate blog with some related quality content to see if your minimum bid drops. If it does, try adding similar eloquent content to your main page via a window feeding your own content in the vicinity the bottom and see what happens.
